How to use this board

For pupils

Drag the coloured tiles up to the line to build a word.
Sound out each tile as you place it, then read the whole word.
Tap Clear all to start a new word.

For teachers & parents

Each colour is a sound type — vowels, digraphs, vowel teams, bonded sounds and more.
Turn on Syllable boxes to break longer words into beats, then drag a box to move a whole syllable.
Dictate a word and ask the pupil to build it — a simple, powerful spelling check.

How to use the Pupil Tile Board

Pick your sound groups on the first screen, then press Start.
Drag tiles down from the bank onto the lines to build words — the bank never runs out.
Tiles snap onto the lines and next to each other, so your words stay neat.
Remove a tile by dragging it to the bin, or double-tap it.
Syllable boxes shows big boxes — one per syllable. Set the number of syllables first, then fill each box with tiles.
Tiles snap to the line wherever you drop them, so words always line up.
A− / A+ makes the tiles smaller or bigger.
